Andrea - Crystal Goodness Creations

I am Andrea, a mother of two, a wife, a sister, a friend, granddaughter, a small business owner of a handcrafted jewellery brand. 

My journey really began after I had kids, the kids we tried, prayed and hoped for, for 6 long years. After they came along I didn’t want to go back to work in a traditional sense, working 9 - 5. I wanted to be there for everything, first steps, words and all the milestones. I am extremely privileged in the sense that my husband is the main provider of our family income, and he wholeheartedly believed in the importance of me being around for the kids in the early days.

So we began  to redefine what was really important to us in life, and it wasn’t holidays, multiple cars or large houses. We realised that a modest living was mnore than enough for us. We value a slow pace of life, full presence and try to live the example that things arejust that, and won’t make you happy in the long run.Hence I was busy raising two kids under two and falling into bed exhausted at night!!!

Then covid happened and I started to really crave a creative outlet, something soley for me, outside of being mum.

I gravitated most towards painting while the kids were in bed of a night.

Then I started on my spiritual journey and suddenly crystals started infiltrating my home!!!! I connected really strongly to certain ones and had quite incredible experiences in terms of feeling energy from them and it literally transformed all I had thought was true regarding god/the universe/vibrations/divine intervention etc 

It was a natural progression from there to purchase my first piece of wrapped crystal jewellery. We didn’t have much disposable income and I wondered if I could teach myself some simple wraps…..

I watched one YouTube video and I was off!!!

The rest is history!

My business crystal goodness creations has now been going for two years.

I jumped in the deep end doing live sales on instagram and I haven’t looked back! I feel that the crystal almost weaves its own wrap and that I’m just the facilitator. Each piece goes to who it was meant for. Alot of my pieces are one of a kind, and if not then extremely small batch. Each and every piece is created by my hands. 

I tailor my business to my life in terms of being there for my children during school holidays and appointments etc, often working of an evening when they are in bed.

Our values haven’t changed, though the economic climate definitely has during the time I’ve been wrapping. We make more sacrifices now as a reflection of what’s happening in the world around us, but our values haven’t changed in that material things have less value than our availability to be together as a family.
