The journey of finding courage, self-belief, and acceptance is one I strive towards daily. My commitment to growth, love, passion, and making a meaningful impact has consistently defined my professional and personal endeavors. This dedication is reflected in my roles as a devoted mother, a former hairdresser, a counselor for at-risk youth, and now through my work with the Mama Mane label.

I feel a deep connection to the statement, “Be your own kind of Beautiful”, because being authentic to yourself is so important. Your uniqueness is what makes you shine and our mission here at Mama Mane is to help you nurture it.
After a family tragedy brought me to Busselton in regional Western Australia, I sought a creative outlet, which led to the inception of Mama Mane, initially envisioned as a curvy and vintage clothing stall. What began as a hobby, balanced with my responsibilities as a single mother, has grown into a flourishing business. I am deeply proud of Mama Mane's evolution into a successful enterprise dedicated to empowering women to look and feel their best. Thank you for being a part of this journey.

EMBRACING SELF LOVE AT MAMA MANE
The inception of Mama Mane represents a pivotal moment in my personal journey toward body positivity. Initially, my own body image was far from positive, but my core mission has always been to empower women to embrace their authentic selves. The vivid colours and floral patterns that characterize Mama Mane contrast sharply with the black attire I previously wore as a hairdresser. These bold choices have become central to my identity.
Society often discourages curvier women from wearing standout pieces, but I challenge this conventional viewpoint. Embracing bold, statement-making styles has not only enhanced my self-confidence but has also inspired the community of women I design for. For me, self love transcends physical appearance; it embodies a holistic acceptance and celebration of one’s entire being, from your curves to your mindset.

At Mama Mane, our mission is to cultivate an environment where every woman feels confident, unique, accepted, and valued.
From a design perspective, inclusivity involves considering all women—regardless of shape, size, age, or stage of life—and crafting clothing that genuinely supports and celebrates this diversity.
When women visit our stall, we strive to make them feel comfortable expressing their true selves. We provide candid feedback and encourage the exploration of various styles, helping them build the confidence to try garments they might not have previously considered.
The principles of body confidence and self-empowerment are not merely ideals I promote; they are integral to my personal ethos. By projecting positive energy and aligning with like-minded individuals, we create a sense of belonging and reinforce our commitment to inclusivity and self-expression. This is the essence of Mama Mane: fostering empowerment, embracing diversity, and celebrating the freedom to be unapologetically oneself.
